Emily Cooper - December 1, 2022
There were many favourite parts including when we went to adrenalin forest and used specialist equipment, including zip-lines to complete obstacle courses between 1.5m and 20m off the ground.
Another favourite was learning the skills to survive in the forest, we built huts and some were even brave enough to eat huhu grubs!
We wrote some camp poems reflecting on our time:
The water was as Cold as ice.The Adrenaline made my heart beat as fast as a cheetahMy heart thumping like loins on a tightropeMy heart was Pumping like a deer running from a tiger

Adrenalin forest up high.Clipping and climbing in the sky.Wondering how am I going to get down as I'm pushing and pulling trying to get my clip off. Slipping into a stirrup. Holding on for dear life.Flying past at top speed.

The beach was as cold as an iceberg. As I was climbing the trees I felt the adrenaline rush in my body.My heart was thumping like elephants running through the jungle. It was as hot as the sun while I was climbing. My body froze after I touched the ice cold water. The food was as delicious as the food at home.Sprinting to the showers that have water as hot as the sun or as cold as the ice. After I walked in the puddles my feet felt as wet as the Atlantic ocean.
