Harakeke has been learning how to use the Book Creator app this term. We have found this to be a fantastic app, allowing the children to use their creativity and individuality while complementing our reading and writing programme.

Over this term we have combine our learning from three subjects in to one task.

In Kōwhai we have so many amazing writers. We are so proud of the creative and imaginative ideas that our tamariki come up with. We have been focussing on narrative writing based on fairy tales.

The Huxter Bike Race is a mountain bike race where riders aim to complete as many laps as they can within a time frame. It takes place on Thu, 20th Oct 2022 (Thursday Week 1) at Mcleans Island.

Photos will be taken Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th October.

Bring $2 to school every Wednesday starting from the 7th of September to get a sausage and bread the following Friday.

Just a friendly reminder about our shared responsibilities for supporting our tamariki to wear a suitable sun hat to protect face, ears and back of neck from UV radiation during Terms 1 & 4.
