GET 2 GO CHALLENGE DAY

On Monday the 12th of September a group of eight, year 9 & 10 students went to Christchurch to compete in the Get 2 Go challenge. This is a multi-challenge event, consisting of mountain biking, orienteering, puzzle solving and a water activity. Well done to the team, they came 7th out of 20 schools from the Canterbury/Aoraki region.

THOMAS CRAWFORD REPRESENTS NEW ZEALAND

Thomas Crawford had an amazing time with the rest of the New Zealand team at the World Skate Oceania Championships held in Timaru over the weekend. They managed to better the Aussies in the 3000m Cadet Boys Relay and won the Gold comfortably. Well done, Thomas and the New Zealand team.

ICE HOCKEY

GRACIE HELLMRICH COMPETES IN THE WOMEN'S NATIONAL ICE HOCKEY LEAGUE

Gracie currently represents The Wakatipu Wild in the Women's National Ice Hockey League. Last weekend her team played two games against Auckland Steel, winning the first game 3-0 and the second 6-3. Her team is currently at the top of the table and will play Dunedin this weekend, with finals the week after. This is an outstanding accomplishment. Well done, Gracie.
