MACKENZIE COLLEGE REPRESENTED AT THE CRUSADER DEVELOPMENT DAY.

Ollie Nelson and Brodie England of Geraldine High School were two of 70 selected players from the Miles Toyota 1st XV rugby championship who began the first stages of gaining selection in the Crusader U18 rugby team today at Rugby Park in Christchurch.

It is fantastic that there is a pathway for students at Mackenzie College to play first XV schoolboy rugby through the Roncalli-Aoraki Combined side. However, it's even more exciting that a young lad from Fairlie can stay local and play local and still be recognised at a Crusader Schoolboy level.
