We were lucky enough to get terrific weather for our Tabloid Sports again this year.  What a great day, it was wonderful to see such awesome teamwork in action!!

Over the past week there has been some discussion regarding the 'over testing' of students caused by the National Standards and the fact that it does not show or measure progress. This is a complex yet worthy debate. Given we are currently holding Parent/Student Conferences, I thought an explanation of our philosophy and the processes around how we get to know our students might be timely.

It was great to see children's enthusiasm not just to have fun, but to be awesome risk-takers to boot!!  Check out a few snaps below...

We are lucky enough to have La Petite Academie offering French lessons at Mt Pleasant School for Years 2-8.

We use the same forms of communication for all our announcements so it is good to ensure you know about these, as they give you the latest information about the events and happenings at MPS.

Why do we have an Enrolment Zone? School enrolment zones stop schools becoming overcrowded, and guarantee children living within any given school zone can attend their local school. Enrolment zones are determined by negotiation between the Boards of surrounding schools. See map above to view our enrolment zone.
