How dare you! Student Arts Expo

Calling all kids who are mad as hell about the lack of progress on climate change! The Nelson Tasman Climate Forum is inviting the region’s under-18s to take their frustration and channel it into art.

The How Dare You! Student Arts Expo+ is giving tamariki the chance to express their emotions, ideas and demands through a myriad of artistic mediums. So much more than an arts expo, the event at Founders Heritage Park on December 11 and 12 is being billed as a place where kids can connect with likeminded and proactive people who will listen to their concerns.
Pretty much anything goes: film, photography, sculpture, paintings, poetry, creative writing, design, you name it! Incentives include $50 spot prizes and more. Ciara Higginbotham (right) and Elie Hill are into it and keen to see heaps of other people entering too. Ciara’s already started working on hers; an image of the earth with The Arctic melting in the shape of a skull!
Feel free to share far and wide. Entry details below.
