Kapahaka is performing at The South West Cluster Cultural Festival (Hoon Hay Fiesta)

Oaklands School has connected with the Christchurch City Council and other schools in our cluster to form an exciting new cultural extravaganza!
Both Kakanō and Kauri Kapahaka groups have joined forces to prepare for the new South West Cluster Cultural Festival which is being held to launch the Hoon Hay Fiesta and the Pacific Series.
Groups form Hoon Hay School, Halswell Primary, Te Kōmanawa Rowley Avenue, Te Kura Kaupapa ō te Whanau Tahi and Hillmorton High School will each present a performance.
Schools will perform between 4-6pm with the Fiesta held from 4-7pm.
As well as our children’s performance, there will be bouncy castles, pony rides, fundraising stalls, face painting and many more activities on the day.
