This week we were very lucky to have Paula from St John visit the school.  We had a lot of fun learning about how to call for help when someone is in need.

We were learning to:

 - Identify and describe the three different emergency services - Recognise and match emergency scenarios with the correct      services
 - State the NZ emergency services phone number - Describe and recognise medical equipment that an ambulance officer may use or wear in caring for patients

We encouraged the students to practice at home with their whanau and we loved hearing about their stories the next day.

If your child has not shown you yet, please ask them and we are sure they would love to teach you.

Thank you Nadia, Aanya and Amela for being such great models for the other kids.
