We have had a lot of learning and creating this week in hub 2!

In science we have been learning about the role bees play in the environment and how bee societies work. We have also been learning about what we can do to help the bees. Some of us have been doing an experiment with growing seeds. We are growing seeds in moist paper towels in the sun, and in also in a warm dark place. We are excited to see which ones work best!

In technology we have been doing STEAM challenges! We have made traps for the gingerbread man, and some awesome newspaper towers.

We have also been learning about what makes a healthy lunch.

We are working hard to sell as much baking as we can for the PTA. The class who sells the most will get a free cake, so please sell lots of baked goodies!

We have had lots of runny noses in the hub and are running pretty low on tissues! If you have any spare at home we would appreciate it!
