Welcome Back! We trust you all had a safe and relaxing holiday (if you got one..)
Upon return to school, students were delighted to see the new playground up and running. Please keep an eye on your children if they are playing on the playground after school, as it does get quite crowded. Take a look at some of the photos below to see everyone having a play.
Maths
This term Maths will continue as per normal. Our strand for the term is statistics, so we will be learning to conduct a statistical investigation and show our information on a different types of graphs.
Reading
Reading classes are the same as Term 3. Students should be bringing home a new book every few days.
Writing
This week we wrote a recount about the new playground. When we write recounts we use the 5 Ws to help us remember what to write: When, Where, Who, What, Why.
Topic
Topic this term is Healthy Bodies and Communities. We made 'compliment bodies' this week where we wrote all the things inside a body that we are good at or which make us special and unique. On the outside of the body our classmates will share what they think makes us special.
Arts
Our Arts focus this term is dance. We will perform our dance at the school gala.
