Sun Hats

Sun hats are a must in Term 4, please make sure they are named and come with your child every day.

Reading

We have made some changes in reading groups for the coming term, check with your Whanau teacher for who you will be reading with in Term 4.

Writing

We have made a big change in our writing programme this term. Mr Horn and Mr Morehu will be running a joint narrative writing programme, while Ms O'Loughlin will continue to work on recount writing. Check with your Whanau teacher to find out which group you will be writing in.

Maths

This one is not changing, though we are back to Monday-Thursday as PE has moved back to Friday now that we don't need the hall booking.

Topic

We will be starting our topic learning with a focus on Sun Safety before we switch gears later in the term to Health and Identity.

PE

With the Kakano Run Jump Throw day coming up this term, we will be learning athletics skills in PE this term.
