This week Miss Chadinha's writers have been working on descriptive writing.  We were describing a jar wizard using:

* describing words

* similes

* detail

Here are some examples of writing - I have loved reading them, so I hope you do to :) If you would like to know what your child wrote about this week, feel free to visit their writing class and have a look at their writing books. 

LIAM HALL:

Mr Wizard is strong and evil and creates new creatures. He also creates new monsters and lives in a castle so nobody can see him, this means he can also make potions. He eats spiders, slugs and snakes as usual because he is crazy. Mr Magical wizard is magical because he has magic rainbow potions around his body. He is angry because nobody likes him, his wife is sad and feels crazy, she is laughing at him! Like this: hahahahawawawawahahahwawa! He also plays in the forest and his hat is red like LAVA!

JAKE RIACH:

His name is magical wizard. He lives in a cave where no one can see him. He likes to eat snakes because he is as hungry as a lion. Magical is a big giant with a red hat, rainbow jars, strong arms and golden armour. He is silly because he eats slime, he also tells lots of jokes, he is a funny giant.

PRANAVI PRASAD:

This is Sneha, he likes to eat weet-bix for breakfast. He makes shiny crystals and he has a green light in the cave. Sneha likes to wear cave clothes, it's red. Sneha is lonely and this makes him sad. 

TOBY BARNES:

This is Toby, he likes to eat yummy mud that the blue aliens give him. He likes to smash people with his metal hammer. Toby is good because he shares his mud with the aliens.
