Welcome back to Term 3! It has been great to hear all the stories about what everyone got up to over the break. 

Here is what we have been up to this week:

Maths

This week we started geometry. We have been learning about different shapes (2D and 3D). As part of this we have been/will learn about language associated with shapes (corners, edges, sides, faces), shape nets and shape names. 

Writing

Miss van Gelder and Miss Mac Farlane's writing classes wrote about the holiday. Mr Horn and Miss Chadinah's classes wrote descriptive pieces of writing about a picture. 

Reading

Some reading groups/classes have changed so this week we were getting to know our learners and setting goals. It was great to see so many students keeping up their reading over the holidays. 

Drama

This term we will be doing drama on a Friday.
