The purpose of our complaints policy is to provide clear guidelines for the school community in raising and resolving concerns and complaints.

With the large number of students unwell it is really important that you let the office know if your child will not be at school.

In Terms 1 and 4, all students must wear a hat when they are outdoors.

We are very pleased to have been advised that Oaklands School has won not one but TWO awards from the Keep Christchurch Beautiful programme .

Oaklands School are planning to host their first ever Senior Citizens concert in the school hall on the afternoon of November 19 starting at 1:30pm.

You are all most welcome to wear Black on Friday to our mufti day if you would like to support the All Blacks!  Or you can wear pink, or purple, or orange, or whatever you would like!

To be presented at the next school assembly on Monday 2nd November 2015 at 2pm.

As part of the 'Olympic Day' promotion to highlight that the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics is only a year away - Aaron Orangi, an Olympic Ambassador visited Oaklands and spoke to us at our recent full school assembly.

The board of Trustees met last Wednesday for their first meeting of the term. 

Today we begin a new section from the sport department - a weekly focus on a student who excels at sport

Oaklands Got Talent 2015 was held in the second half of Term 3. We began with 48 individuals and groups signing up to deliver some outstanding talent to try and progress past the heats and into the semi finals.

Room 22, 23, 9 and 12 collaborated together to create a stunning Kiwiana mural for Oaklands School.

Room 21 is excited to have Riley join our class this term. 

This term the school community has the opportunity to review the "Emergency Planning and Procedures" and "Health, Safety and Welfare" policies.
