Whoop whoop! Ski trip 2019 was a blast.

On Wednesday evening we received the news that staff and students who took part in the recent ski trip to Queenstown may have been exposed to measles while skiing at The Remarkables Skifield on September 1st.

The recent outbreak of measles across the country is a serious issue for students with approaching examinations, both parallel and final external exams.

We will be welcoming Saori Yamaguchi to Otago Girls' in Term Four. She will be helping in the Japanese classes as a teaching assistant for six weeks.

Otago Girls’ were runners up in Secondary Schools’ Arts section at the 2019 Tournament of Minds Competition held in Christchurch on Saturday 31 August.

NCEA parallel external examinations take place from 11 to 17 September. The timetable for these examinations is attached.

As part of ensuring our programmes best meet the needs of our students, we are required to consult with our community every two years regarding the content of our Health Education Programmes.
