Wow! It looks like summer has arrived early this year. What amazing weather we are having this week. It’s not long until our famous Quiz Night. Make sure that you come along as we would love to catch up with you all.

Visit by the Otago Medical Students today:

Thank you to the Otago Medical students who visited our kura today. We danced, sang, played unihockey, shared some of our Healthy School lunch kai with you, and showed you all around our wonderful kura. We love meeting other people and asking them about how their life is.

Quiz night:

Keep Saturday 7 September as the famous Okains Bay Quiz night is on.  This will be held at the Okains Bay Hall.

It’s a great community event with tough questions and a great time to catch up with others.  Get yourselves into teams of 4 and start studying!! The cost is $10 p.p  and we will provide you with a yummy supper. Please pay online to book your seat/table. Our Quiz master is Amour Jane Ryan.

School water tank:

If your tamariki play at school during the weekend can you please remind them that under no circumstances should they be climbing on top of our water tanks. It is an incredibly dangerous act.
