Term 4, Week 9 - 2024

The 2024 is wrapping up and it has been an exciting but busy year. 2025 is promising to be just as exciting and we have loads of activities and adventures planned.

Teacher only day:

A reminder that this Friday (tomorrow) we have been invited to Onuku Marae to take part in a Te Tiriti o Waitangi discussion. School will be closed on this day.

School books:

If you have any school reading books at home can these please be returned to our kura.

School items:

If there are any school items that you may have borrowed for events etc can these please be returned before the end of the school year.

End of Year Prize Giving assembly and melodrama:

Next Tuesday at 2pm we will be holding our end of year assembly, and we have also been working hard on a self-created Melodrama. Everyone is most welcome to come along to this event and stay for afternoon tea!

Okains Bay Stall:

Make sure you come along and look at our stall outside the 4 Square in Akaroa on Saturday from 10am-12pm. There are loads of creative items and Christmas items for sale.

OKAINS BAY SCHOOL POOL WILL BE CLOSED OVER THE CHRISTMAS BREAK-

There will be No POOL KEYS available this year.
The Okains Bay School Board of Trustees has decided to close the school pool over the Christmas break due to maintenance work.
