Relevant Research - June 2023

Welcome to another issue of Relevant Research with research stories from Te Pūkenga kaimahi (staff) and ākonga (students) at Otago Polytechnic, Southern Institute of Technology and Ara Institute of Canterbury (OPSITARA).

Well done Margo Barton and Caroline Terpstra, for leading the organising committee for the recent conference of International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes (IFFTI). The 25th annual IFFTI conference was successfully held in Dunedin in April, with the theme of Ara Honohono | Connecting Pathways.

We would also like to congratulate Associate Professor David Rozado, who has been awarded a visiting faculty fellowship at the Center for Academic Pluralism, Heterodox Academy in New York City. David will take up his fellowship over the New Zealand summer. You can read more in the Heterodox Academy announcement here.
