I would like to start my message this week by thanking the staff here at Otago Boys'.

This week our senior students have participated in our first Wānanga days.

On Thursday this week, our Year 9 and 10 students were fortunate to be involved in a special assembly run by the New Zealand Police.

Over the Matariki long weekend the OBHS 1 badminton team travelled to Christchurch to play in the South Island Secondary School tournament.

On the last day of the option for French, Year 9 students feasted on some typical French food.

Food and Nutrition Level 2/3 combined class started the day at McDonald's to look at how some of the practices used by McDonald's influence food choice and eating patterns. The Level 3 students are currently working on the background for this as an internal.

Our scholarship Statistics students took part in a blind Triangle Taste Test to try and differentiate between three different types of foods.

Recently Year 12 and 13 members of the 1st XV completed an “Introduction to Rugby Coaching” course with the help of the Learning Place.
