Welcome back to the start of Term 3.

When this school turns 200, we seniors will all be in our 60’s. We may have children, possibly even grandchildren. What stories will you tell them? One of mine will be when I was in Year 10 and getting made to eat 16 cups of peas by three seniors.

This week at senior assembly National Blues were awarded to two of our students.

Wairua Pūhou, our OBHS & OGHS combined Kapa haka group, had an excellent performance in this year's regional competition.

The winter interschool fixture between Otago Boys' High School and Waitaki Boys' High School was held in Dunedin on Wednesday. The results were:

Every July the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Shanghai Youth Federation sponsor an International Youth Interactive Friendship Camp.

Year 13 student Hamish Walker hit Gold in the holidays.

OBHS was represented by three cyclists at the South Island Road Cycling Championships in Christchurch recently. In chilly, but fine conditions, the boys time trialled and scratch raced their way around Ruapuna Motorsport Park.
