A seesaw, yes the seesaw that sits in the playground that you would so happily run to from a distance back in your childhood days. Why have I brought up a seesaw?

A great couple of days to kick off the Mount Aspiring Camp season. The lodge celebrates 40 years on April 2nd and 10T has honoured this land with an enthusiastic start.

A great start to the first term at the Hostel and the new boys have settled in very well.

This week Year 13 Biology students visited the Otago University Physiology Department where they learnt about homeostasis as part of their first internal. This field trip explored human respiratory physiology and the gas exchanges that occur in the alveoli of the lungs.

When you're an avid book reader it can be hard to understand how other people don't like reading. Many of us would like to read but struggle finding the time, but regardless of how often or not we read - we do love a good book.

Year 9 student Thomas Hamilton has been selected by Sir Russell Coutts to compete at this year's Open Bic World Championships on Lake Garda, Italy from 31 July to 5 August. 

Scholarship Statistics tutorials start with an investigation into international passenger arrivals at two of NZ Airports. 

Year 13 student Cameron Miller competed in the U18 National Decathlon championships after turning 17 the day before the competition started.

Last week the OBHS top tennis team competed in the Otago qualifying tournament to represent Otago at the South Island Secondary Schools event which is to be held in Timaru in March.

On Tuesday the annual summer interschool fixture between Otago Boys' and Waitaki Boys' was held in Oamaru.

April sees a rare return to Dunedin of one of our notable Old Boys and one of the city's favourite sons. 

The Otago Boys’ High School Parents Association Annual General Meeting will be held on the 16th March, at 7.00pm, in the school library.
