It was another early start for a fresh-faced team of Otago Boys’ triathletes travelling through to contest the Challenge Wanaka Schools’ triathlon.

It was a day of warmish weather, fantastic House colours and great participation across the Houses.

Tuesday afternoon saw the start of OBHS’ latest extra curricular activity.

The first of the summer interschool fixtures was held in Timaru this week.

The Year 9 boys had a great long weekend away at OBHS Mt Aspiring Lodge alongside Mr Mahutariki, Mr Hall, Mr Rowe and Mrs Martin.

If you are interested in Earth and Space Science, Mr Zani is running another Earthquakes and Volcanoes tour of the North Island from the 6th to the 10th of October.

We have five Year 10 classes going to camp at Mt Aspiring this term.

As a school we are always grateful to the many parents, old boys and community members who support us.

The PPTA has advised the OBHS Board that its member teachers at our school will be taking strike action on 16 March 2023.
