Year 6s Visit Our New Classroom Block

by Rose Neal

A group of Year 6 children were very lucky to be taken on a guided tour of our new classroom block last Friday. These children have been working with Bronny Apted from Woodview Construction for the past 6 weeks as part of JAD (Just Awesome Day). Over the past 6 weeks they learnt about roles in construction, how to read plans, and materials involved in construction. This culminated in a visit to the building site. They were all very excited are are looking forward to seeing the new building when it is finished towards the end of June this year.

Crisis Management Plan

Crisis Management Plan

by Hilary Ford

As part of our Health and Safety requirements, our school has a number of policies and procedures that outline what we will do in the event of a crisis in our school. This may include the school having to go into Lockdown, if required by the Police, or if we determine we need to, to keep children and staff safe. We work with a Health and Safety company to ensure our procedures are practical and personalised for our school situation.
