Crazy Hair Day / Shave for a Cure Fundraiser
Graeme Eastwood - April 9, 2024
Thanks to everyone for their support! Today we have raised over $2300 for Leukemia and Blood Cancer NZ.
To support the 8 Kiwis – adults and children – that are diagnosed each day with a blood cancer. We want to show solidarity all the Kiwis living with blood cancer and help us get one step further to our vision for a cure.
Thanks to all the students and staff who dressed up for Crazy Hair Day today. Thanks also to all the staff and whānau who donated.
Several base students took part in a Crazy Hair Parade over at Pūtahi Belfast. It's great to continue to grow our collaboration with them and our wider community.
As a part of our fundraising drive, four of our kaimahi bid farewell to their luscious locks.
Thanks again to everyone who played a part in supporting such a worthy cause.

With your food basket and my food basket the people will thrive.
This whakatauki is about collaboration and a strengths-based approach. It acknowledges that everybody has something to offer, a piece of the puzzle, and that by working together we can all flourish.
