9MH Foodbank Challenge Morning Tea by PNBHS

Form Class Foodbank Challenge

Well done to the young men in 9MH who were the winners of the Foodbank Form Class Challenge and received a morning tea shout from the Rector in recognition of their efforts. Thanks to Prefects Sam Kennett and Liam McEwan who organised the collection for the Palmerston North Foodbank and joined 9MH for morning tea.

Motocross North Island Cross Country Championships

There were some great results from our young men at the North Island Cross Country championships raced at Taikorea on Friday, 1 September. 155 riders competed across the 90 minute Novice and Championship races. Laps were between 22 and 35 minutes and the track was part motocross track and part cross-country trial through tress and farmland, all of it on a sandy base. By the end of the day, the track was very rough and hard going. All of the boys rode well.
