Year 9 Haka Challenge
As well as introducing young men to an important part of the culture and tradition of Palmy Boys', the Year 9 Haka Challenge encourages students to work together within their classes towards a shared goal, it provides leadership opportunities for the year 9 students as well as for their Form Class mentors and Haka Mentors.
Well done to all young men involved - the effort that had gone into learning the school haka was obvious. The four finalists at the end of the competition were 9DS, 9GH, 9GU and 9RS.
Congratulations to 9DS, who were the winning Form Class in the Year 9 Haka Challenge.
Congratulations to Jake Maskill, who was adjudged to be the best kaea (leader) from the Year 9 Haka Challenge.
