Congratulations to all students who have been awarded the role of House Leader for 2020.

This year we welcome Jo Barnsdale (Food Technology) , Anna Cross (Science and Mathematics), Josie Abbott (Mathematics and Humanities) and Levi Titi (Digital Technology) on to our staff.

Wednesday 29 January saw the start of the 2020 school year for all of our new Year 9 students, new students from other year levels and our international students.

Well done to the Queen's rowers who gained third place in the novice quad event at the South Island Championships in Twizel last weekend; this is an awesome achievement.

The Queen’s High School Athletics Championships and House Fun Day will be held on Monday 10 February at the Caledonian Sports Ground.

Please remember that when driving in the school grounds there is a 5kph speed limit. Please do not park on the yellow lines or the bus stops; this is becoming a real hazard and compromises the safety of our girls. Slow down around our school to 40kph.

Next Thursday, 13th Feb, 2pm, The White Ferns are taking on South Africa in an exciting T20 International Fixture at The University of Otago Oval.

This is a reminder for students and parents/caregivers about some of the procedures around the school.
