Kia ora Koutou

2019’s Year 13 students’ last school day (Friday 01 November 2019) kicked off with the PTA-run Breakfast at Riccarton Park.

Yr 12 students came back to school this week (4 & 5 Dec) for Peer Support Training Days.

A super big KA PAI and congratulations goes out to Bree Smith and her Painting students Monica Koster (Level 2) and Quanxin Zhen (Level 3.)

Riccarton High's star team of Leah Albrow, Aislinn Rogers, Angus Howden and Daniel Bruerton took on 200 other teams from around New Zealand and were crowned this years runners up.

Both have been awarded bronze certificates in the New Zealand section of the International Biology Olympiad.

As the 2019 school year draws to a close we have said farewell to some of our support and teaching staff. We thank these people for the contribution they have made to Riccarton High School and wish them well for their next adventures:

Get some books for your Summer time reading.

It’s a treat to buy books for prize giving every year. This year it was a wonderful surprise to find that the new staff member helping me was a former dux of Riccarton High School.
