Christchurch Careers Expo 2019

Along with other schools in the Christchurch region, Riccarton High School attended the annual Christchurch Careers Expo last week.

On Friday the 10th of May during Riccarton High School's fourth period, the year 12 and 13 students caught a bus to Horncastle Arena where the Christchurch Careers Expo was being held.  

Many students went home with a bag full of booklets and goodies from various universities and institutes that they were interested in. 

The Careers Expo comprises the widest range of exhibitors of any career focused Expo in New Zealand, consisting of employers, industry, tertiary providers, training institutes, government departments, and corporate New Zealand. 

This fantastic event provides young people a valuable opportunity to make important connections as they plan their careers, so it was excellent for the students of RHS (+ any other school) to be able to check it all out.
