Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a spectacular musical production which has captivated audiences of all ages and is one of the most-performed musicals in schools. There have been more than 20,000 school and amateur productions of Joseph, as well as professional performances in over 80 countries.

While creators of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat used a story found in Judaism, Islam and Christianity for inspiration, we believe that the musical production and the story itself will appeal to anyone.

It is a story of hope, resilience, and the power of believing in oneself. Through clever storytelling, humour, wit and energy, the universal themes of friendship, family dynamics, resilience, forgiveness and the pursuit of dreams are explored - themes that transcend time and place and themes we believe will resonate deeply with all of our students at RJHS.

We are excited to begin our auditions this week. There is a part for everyone: actors, dancers, musicians, singers. Those who like to be on stage and those who shine when working behind the scenes.

We can’t wait to see what the students and our Performing Arts team of teachers will share later in Term 2.
