Orchestras Central
On Wednesday, 17 August, a group of RHS students enjoyed a wonderful concert at the Gallagher Performing Arts Centre at the University of Waikato.
The concert was put on by the Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra and Orchestras Central, and delivered stories of Māori myths and legends supported by an orchestral score and accompanied by traditional Māori instrumentation. It was fascinating to hear how these two very different styles merged together to create a truly magical experience.
