Some reminders.

ALL NZ SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED ON TUESDAY AFTER EASTER. The reasoning for this is:

The Tuesday following Easter Monday is a school holiday (but not a statutory holiday), meaning schools must not be open. The terms and holidays are usually set so Easter occurs during the first term break and the Easter Tuesday school holiday goes unnoticed. However, in some years, Easter falls much earlier than usual, such as in 1997, 2005, 2008, 2013, 2016, 2021 and 2024. In years like this, schools start a day earlier in the year or stay open longer. In our case, this is part of why we opened so early.

On Wednesday, April 3, we have our Three-Way Conferences. Teachers commence a new conference every 15 minutes, and each session will start with your child outside the classroom. For year 4-8 children, we will discuss and share a copy of the recently administered standardised assessments.

FoSS Kite Flying afternoon planned for Thursday, April 4th is postponed until a date later in the year.
