By now you should have received via email, voting instructions for the upcoming Board of Trustees elections. Thank you very much to all those standing. We have further information in this newsletter.

The end of week three is quickly approaching. This winter term certainly is turning out to be quite miserable. Our level of COVID cases are very low, I’ve included an update at the bottom of the section.  We do have a large number of children away right now (19-20% etc day). Many of those are overseas or on holiday and some have general sickness.  This term we have had only one day where all our staff have been at work. This is causing us ongoing challenges, but every day we seem to just manage to keep all classes running. Wet school days are always a challenge. The pent-up energy can be felt as you walk around the school. In saying that, our children are remarkably good at coping with being stuck inside all day. Some children have been bringing some cards or board games, this mixes things up from the games the teacher has in the class. This positive attitude, acceptance of others and calmness assist everyone to make the most of these wet and cold days.  It is pleasing to see just about all children with a decent raincoat at school every day.

You will see we have a feedback form in each week's newsletter.  Thank you to those that give feedback, it is valuable and appreciated.
