Wheels Day

Our wheels day, to celebrate Movin’March, has been a tremendous success. The children are lucky to have access to so many wheeled devices, and our grounds lend themselves to this.

School Disco

Please remember that you must come into the Hall to collect your child at the end of their disco. Please make sure you are punctual in collecting your child. It is a long night for the staff and parents that make this event possible! Having to stay later than necessary is not ideal for anyone, particularly children, who can become anxious if their parent has not arrived. At the end of the night, we appreciate any assistance available to clean up as we have a Hui on Friday morning, so everything needs to be cleaned up before we all go home. This is our first disco since 2019. Thank you to everyone that assisted in organising and running the Disco.

3 Way Conferences

We have a tremendous percentage of bookings for these. The library is open for children to wait while siblings have their conferences. Mrs Bamber also welcomes families to come in, catch up, issue a book, or discover what is new in the Library.

Some reminders regarding conferences:

  • We will commence all conferences with your child outside and then invite them in as part of the conference.
  • French Club will still run after school
  • Ms Laming will hold her conferences in the Pāua Room. Use the stairs next to the Office.
  • Ms Richardson will hold her conferences in the Dorset Room, which is next to the upstairs lift

Careers Day

A big thank you to Rongotai College for inviting our year 8 students to their Careers Day. It was well received and gave our year 8's a lot to think about!

Sun Hats and Sun Smart Clothing

With the wide variation in the weather on any day, children must come prepared for all weather conditions. Please still ensure clothing is sun smart as well as make sure that your children are bringing a jacket to school every day.
