We have a very full newsletter this week, so not much from me!

Year 5/6 Camp was a great success.

We are fortunate to be updated on a regular basis on the latest developments and guidelines related to the virus situation.

It has been a very dry summer, so whilst some plants love the hot sun some do not. We have taken the opportunity to learn from the seasons and what happens to our garden and plants.

The children in year 1 have been enjoying their weekly PMP programme.

The annual Shore to Shore Fun Run/Walk is back

Last year we were gifted this beautiful Chinese dragon.

This term some of our Matai children have had the opportunity to join a small kapa haka group and learn more traditional Maori waiata, rakau, poi and haka.

Our biggest challenges as parents is when to say 'no' and when to say 'yes'. This article is not about if they can have dessert after dinner, this generation want to know if they can have a social media (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, WeChat etc.) account.

Matai have been very busy this term so far with our Maths (Statistics), Reading and Writing programmes. We have also started swimming lessons at Millenium.

Our Kahui Ako of local schools is pleased to present a series of parent workshops.

Registrations are flying in for the Hibiscus Coast event on Sunday 22nd March.

A few things we have noticed that we'd like to remind you about.

The visitors carpark will be locked from 8.15am to 9.00am and 2.45pm to 3.15pm each day

If you live in the school zone and have a child who will turn 5 years old within the next year, please let us know.

Tuesday 7th April- 3.30pm - 8.00pm. Wednesday 8th April - 1.30pm - 6.00pm.

Our Kahui Ako Teacher Only Day on Thursday 9 April provides an opportunity for businesses to connect with 300 local teachers.
