Newsletter Week 4, Term 4

Kia ora e te whānau,

This week has been Celebrating Our Cultures Week at school - one of my highlights for the year. It has been wonderful to see all our learners representing their diversity and celebrating one another's culture. Seeing the different colours, flags and nations represented in our learning community was amazing. It was a great picture of our school and showed who we are. We are a diverse bunch who celebrate our differences and learn from each other. There is strength in our diversity. No matter who you are, what culture you are from, you have a place here - you belong!

Upcoming Dates:

Disco - Friday, 6 November

Senior Speeches start - Monday, 9 November

Middle / Senior Athletics - Friday, 13 November

Year 6 visit Berkley - Wednesday, 18 November

PTG NEWS

by Alana Curry

The Parent Teacher Group (PTG) is a group of parents and teachers that work to create fun events for the kids and fundraise for the school. We always welcome new members - we’d love to see some new faces at our meetings. If you can’t commit to meetings but would like to help out at events, please let us know. We especially need parents that can help out during the day occasionally.
