On Saturday, August 10, the Old Boys' Annual Dinner took place at the Addington Raceway and Events Centre, continuing this tradition, 99 years after the first dinner was held.

Last week, our school community welcomed students and staff from Apifo'ou College, who were visiting from Tonga.

The PTA would like to invite the St Bede’s community and their family and friends to join us for a ‘Night at the Races’.

The Bedean Choir were awarded a Korimako Silver Award at the 2024 South Island Cadenza of The Big Sing, which took place in Timaru on 16-17 August.

Current 1st XV player Antonio Verhoeven caught the eye of talent scouts while representing St Bede's at the Condor Sevens tournament late last year.

Players will attend three-day camp before a team is chosen to play the Hurricanes in October.

In the July school holidays, Year 13 students Connor Carroll and Oliver Carter travelled to Hamilton to compete in the Grand Final of the Junior Young Farmer of the Year competition.

Earlier this month, Year 12 student Jaeger Pryce fought in the Canterbury boxing champs in the Junior Featherweight division.

Year 9 student Levi McMillan and fellow teammate Year 12 student Mac Templeton competed at the Kartsport New Zealand National Schools' Karting Championships in Nelson during the last school holidays.
