Music students delight as recording studio opens
The final addition to the Mary Hornsby Music Centre, the Mulgrew Family Recording Studio, was officially opened on Monday 19 November. The studio was generously donated by St Paul's family, Craig, Belinda, Dillion (year 13) and Tyler Mulgrew (starting at St Paul's in 2019 as a year 11).
A small thank you function was held in the music centre where the Mulgrews were thanked by Headmaster Grant Lander and Foundation Chair Megan Smith.
"We're incredibly grateful to the Mulgrew family for donating this fantastic addition to the music department at St Paul's," said Grant.
Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the excited music students experimented with the new facility while Brad Morgan (Wintec) guided them through the different aspects of music recording.
