Director of Development Report

After the big celebrations of our 125th Anniversary in Term 1, Term 2 has given us some time to catch our breath and plan some exciting events for later in 2021 and looking ahead to 2022.

We are especially excited about launching our first online fundraising appeal in October. Watch this space and save the date of October 19th for a launch event at St Hilda's. The 125th Anniversary Appeal, which will run from October 20-22, is our final fundraising push towards the Chapel upgrade. We are developing a website to allow donations to be made online. We need your support to make this a success - more details to come next term.

There will be a St Hilda's Old Girls' Christmas function on November 13th at 2pm, on Waiheke Island. We will be hosted by one of our Old Girls at her home, and we are looking forward to celebrating the end of our 125th year with this event up north. RSVP to oldgirls@shcs.school.nz.

We would like to thank Old Girl Sheelagh Thompson, who has generously donated $10,000 towards the Building Heart Campaign. Sheelagh was a student here in the 1930s-40s. We really appreciate the support we receive from our Old Girls and past families.
