LED Scoreboard for the Gymnasium

The Sports Council would like to seek expression of interest from businesses that maybe interested in sponsoring a gymnasium LED Screen - which has multiple purposes.  

One of the main functions of the gym is hosting sport competitions and currently we have no electronic means to score netball, volleyball or basketball. 

During the discussion process, the Council wanted this equipment to also be multi purpose for all students and the community who use the space. By purchasing a LED screen, it will also benefit PE classes by use of videos and internet links, also adding value to school assemblies and would enhance other special events. Additionally, St Hilda’s has become a desirable venue for hire, and there are a number of conferences and events taking place over the next couple of years.  

In order for this to proceed in 2023, the Council is looking at ways of funding the scoreboard. If you know of a business that would like to know more about sponsoring options please email rparker@shcs.school.nz
