2023 Bunnings National Youth Touch Championship

A number of St Hilda’s students recently participated in the 2023 Bunnings National Youth Touch Championship held at Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub in Christchurch, on 10-12th February 2023. 

The U16 Otago Girls’ team, including Kyla Ashton, Jannah Hooper, Cydney McAlwee and Holly Rowcroft, won the national title, beating Waikato 3-2 in their final. The U18 Otago Girls’ team including Luana Ashton, Libby Challis, Brooke Duncan, Demi McAlwee, Sophia Tutty and Charlotte Va’afusuaga, finished a very credible 5th in the U18 Girls' Grade. Congratulations all of these students on their outstanding effort.
