The Tahuna Hall was full for the welcoming assembly on the first day of school. Te Taiopeka welcomed the new students and teachers into the hall before Mr Hunter gave his opening address. Staff were also introduced to the students and a warm welcome was given to our International Students.

Canteen Price List 2019

The Canteen provides food through ordering Tuesday-Friday. Most food needs to be ordered as it is supplied to the school through outside providers. Students can order in their classroom in the morning. The Canteen is open for sales at lunchtime Tuesday-Friday with limited items for sale.

Mandarin Language Assistants

Tahuna is lucky enough to have three Mandarin Language Assistants joining us this year to support our classroom teachers in teaching Mandarin Chinese. We have welcomed, Liu Xin Yu, Ren Xin and Peng Zheng. They will be working in all our classes over the course of the year as well as going out to many other schools in our community. We look forward to working with them and benefiting from their expertise.

Have A Go At Fencing
