This Year we started a Rumaki at Tauhara Primary. We welcome our young vibrant, talent new kaimahi Hunter Mokomoko, Tania Withers, Paora Wineera and Piata Morehu to our Kahui Pouako this year. Tō mātou waimarie. Our kaupapa is about nurturing the tamaiti through a Te Aō Māori lens and promoting kaupapa Māori through kapahaka, whakaari, hakinakina, haerenga marae as well as academic studies. This term we have started our kaupapa talking about Ngatoroirangi and Tūwharetoa and our links to them. Our big kaupapa for the year is our tipuna Māui Tikitiki a Taranga (Māui Takitaki o te rā).
