A very special welcome to all our new students and families.

On behalf of the staff, I would like to acknowledge and thank our community for your support and cooperation this term.

All Year 4 - 8 students will bring home their Progress Report on Wednesday 4 July as will Year 1 - 3 students who are due a Progress or Anniversary Report. If you are unsure as to whether your child should have received a report then please check with your child’s teacher.

There are 2 workshops for parents on 'Building Resilience in children' and 'Children & Sleep'.

The Ministry of Education is undertaking a review of school transport routes for eligible students.

School closes for the term on Friday July 6 at 3pm.

The West Melton Kea Crossing on Weedons Ross road has been running successfully from Term 1 of this year. The volunteer road patrollers are out there in all weather keeping their schoolmates safe.

Our Student Executive have contributed to a survey to be completed by all students from years 4- 8 on their emotional and safe well being.

Has your child brought home some extra pants?

This term we have 6 students from Y6 to 8, participating in the Selwyn Sports Development Programme. One of our lucky participants, Otis, has written about what he enjoys about the programme.

Nick Wilson from Bayleys Rangiora visited our school this week to donate a book named Ace: A Horsey Tail of Courage.

This was a huge success and we want to thank all the children who participated and the community for getting behind it.

A huge thank you to everybody who came to the disco, we hope the kids had a great time. Look out for the next one in term 4! We also want to say thank you to The Two Fat Possums who donated $100 from the sale of Pizzas on the disco night. Their support is greatly appreciated.
