The Warehouse Red Shirts in Schools Gateway Programme is designed to give students a great opportunity to get hands-on experience of what it’s like to work in the exciting retail industry, and make useful professional contacts for when they leave school.

As part of The Warehouse Red Shirts in Schools package, each student will receive:

• a work placement with The Warehouse
• customised learning resources
• assessment and support through a dedicated Schools Transitions Advisor
• Polo shirts (these will need to be returned on the last day).

The course offer 23 Level 2 credits. 

Please note that students need to be able to get to Papanui for a one day retail workshop and also get to the Hornby Warehouse for the course of the work experience. This is usually 1 day per week for 10 weeks.
