Hot off the press! Ex-Student Emily Blythe (nee Tasker)

Progress with our aim of a safe school for everyone with an important request for parents / whānau. Students stepping up on fieldtrips and a great result for our dragon boaters.

Students in Year 12 and Year 13 who achieved Merit and Excellence endorsements in NCEA Level 1 and Level 2 last year are recognised and celebrated in this Academic Assembly. Parents are most welcome.

From Mainland Uniforms

Ex-DHS student Jade Pengelly, whose book "Tales of a Vet Nurse" is number 5 in Aotearoa's best-seller list, held a career presentation and a writing workshop for keen student writers. Students from all year groups attended these sessions.

Thanks to 28 student librarians, our library is efficient and friendly. Once every term we get together to share kai, have a few games and laughs and importantly present the DHS Library Oscar.
