Celebrations of a great year of learning were held on Monday 11 December. All Year 9 & 10 students were presented with certificates highlighting their learning throughout the year. All students then joined together in the gym for the presentation of the following special awards:

Enrolment Day is happening on Tuesday 30 January 2024, from 9am til 3pm for Years 12, 13 and Adult students.

It was a great pleasure to recognise the achievement of many of our Year 13 students who gained scholarships for university study in 2024 and to welcome guests from two universities to present awards at our Senior Prizegiving.

It was wonderful to acknowledge the journey of our Year 13 leavers this year through our Te Puāwaitanga celebration on November 30th.

The holiday season is a time to relax and connect with family and friends. It can also be a stressful time for many of us.

Catch Up College 2024

After 3 recently featured its 2023 Exhibition in a celebration of learning. Starring the instruction and artistry of teachers and their students, our learning communities came together to showcase the work they delight in.

Congratulations to Hagley Writers’ Institute Director and Tutor, Melanie Dixon who has recently been awarded a Storylines Notable Book Award for her young-adult, speculative-fiction novel, A New Dawning.

Congratulations to the 17 Hagley students who completed their Duke of Edinburgh Award Adventurous Journey assessment at Mt Somers in late November.
