Our School Values - Marshland MANA

Riki Culley —

At Marshland School Te Rito Harakeke, we want to provide and follow clear and consistent behavioural expectations of our students. As kaimahi, the most important behaviour strategy is knowing our ākonga and forming appropriate, positive relationships with them.

Our ākonga, kaimahi, and whānau are encouraged to live and act according to our Marshland MANA school values:

  • Manaakitanga - Displaying respect and care towards peers, teachers, and the environment

  • Ako - Learner - Demonstrating a growth mindset, students always give their best and engage in learning

  • Ngātahi - Working well together, connecting, communicating, and collaborating positively with others

  • Aumangea - Display resilience by taking risks, showing ‘grit’, and bouncing back.
