Here at Hail we're always harping on about making sure your publishing is well formatted for the growing majority of users reading your content on mobile devices. Now it seems that advertisers have cottoned on and are looking for new, innovative ways to tell compelling brand and product stories on mobile. Facebook's new Canvas ad format aims to do just that.
Fluidly combining text, photography and/or video; Canvas ads open up full screen on mobile devices to provide immersive experiences, which Facebook says will load up to 10 times faster than the standard mobile web.
