Kia ora Old Boys

The THSOB’s around the regions have had several gatherings worth of note.

Owen Marshall [Jones] (TBHS 1955-59) and Carl Shuker (TBHS 1988- 92) received acclaim as leading NZ literary figures in the Listener in early November.

The old Armory building on the western fringe of the Rectory field dates back to TBHS arrival in North St in 1913. It is dilapidated and been on the demolition list for some years.

Life membership recognises a very special and sustained contribution to the Timaru High School Old Boys’ Association. In 2024 the honour of Life Membership was bestowed on two notable Old Boys’.
